Presenting The 3rd Korea Toray Science and Engineering College Student Scholarship Certificate
Korea Toray Science Foundation(president Lee Yeong-gwan) said on August 28 that it held the ‘ceremony for giving the Toray Korea certificates of scholarship to 15 science and engineering college students for the second semester of 2019.’
The scholarship students were selected in consideration of academic performance, and they received scholarships of up to KRW3 million.
Korea Toray Science Foundation said it would select a total of 30 students, 15 in the first semester and 15 in the second semester, this year as it did last year.
In addition, the foundation emphasized that it would form a community of scholarship students, invigorate communication between scholarship students and engage in continuous exchange with the foundation.
Korea Toray Science Foundation, which was launched last January as a public foundation, provides scholarships to outstanding science and engineering students and gives Science and Technology Awards to researchers who greatly contributed to the development of science with their outstanding achievements in the essential and application areas in chemistry and materials scholarship throughout their life, and provides research funds for research projects with high potential in a bid to promote the development of science and technology in Korea.
