TAK Donates 20,000 Sprinkle Blocker Masks to Sister Corps
Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc., sent 20,000 spray-blocking masks to its sister unit, the Army's 5th Artillery Brigade(brigade commander Kim Nam-hoon).
Jeon Hae-sang, president of the CEO, said, "We appreciate the hard work of soldiers who are always devoted to national security. We hope that masks will help prevent the infection from the COVID-19 and boost morale among soldiers in the hot summer."
He also said, "Since sister units will be at the forefront of national defense, TAK will do its best for related industries and economic development through technological innovation."
For the safety of soldiers, the donation of masks was made without a direct visit. Since its conclusion in 2012, Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc., has done various exchange activities every year, such as invitation events, barracks experience for children of employees, and the transmission of development funds.
On the other hand, Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc., has contributed to stabilizing supply and demand by rapidly supplying MB filters, an essential material for solving the shortage of domestic masks, and developing an electrostatic SMS nonwoven fabric capable of double-masking. Recently, it has been evaluated that it is contributing to the safety of the people as a core material by developing and supplying non-woven fabrics for blocking droplets with good ventilation.
