Jo Yong-gu, Manager of Toray Advanced Materials Korea Fiber Sales 2 Team(former Fiber Marketing Team), received a Minister’s commendation of New Technology Utilization Promotion Division at the 2021 New Technology Utilization Promotion Conference held on December 7th.

Marking its 25th anniversary this year, the New Technology Utilization Promotion Conference is an event to discover and reward merit and organizations that have contributed to the development and competitiveness of the national industry with innovative technology every year.

Manager Jo was honored with the Minister of Industry's commendation for his contribution to ‘Pragmaticizing New Excellent Technology (NET)’ at the event by commercializing eco-friendly 3D nonwoven fabrics promoted with domestic automakers for the first time.

Manager Jo said he would make efforts to contribute to the sustainable development of the textile business in the future by using the award as a cornerstone for expanding the use of eco-friendly textile materials for electric vehicles.
