Gunsan Plant Obtains the highest ‘P’ in process safety management only in Jeollabuk-do
Gunsan plant of Toray Advanced Materials Korea obtained the highest grade of P from the Ministry of Employment and Labor in the evaluation of the implementation status of Process Safety Management (PSM).
The evaluation of the implementation status of process safety management is a government-approved evaluation system that boasts the highest authority in the field of safety management in Korea and is conducted to prevent serious industrial accidents for workplaces with hazardous risk facilities.
Gunsan plant received a P grade in the evaluation conducted from November 1st to 3rd for systematic safety management and rapid emergency response, and is currently the only workplace in Jeollabuk-do that has acquired a P grade. Among the workplaces subject to national evaluation, the P grade is the top 4%, which is only given to the highest level of safety workplaces recognized by the government.
