TAK signs an agreement with the KEAD on 'Standard workplace establishment for subsidiaries with the disabled'
Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK) signed an agreement with the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities(KEAD) on August 10th to establish a ‘'Standard workplace establishment for subsidiaries with the disabled.’
The subsidiary-type standard workplace for the disabled is a system in which when a subsidiary establishes a subsidiary with certain requirements such as employment of 10 or more persons with disabilities, the subsidiary considers the disabled to be hired by the parent company and reduces the employment rate.
"We are happy to contribute to the creation of jobs for the disabled through the establishment of standard businesses," said President Jeon Hae-sang at the signing ceremony held at the conference room of the TAK Gumi Technology Research Institute. "We will continue to do our best to fulfill our social responsibilities as corporate citizens."
TAK is a company that supplies high value-added materials and actively promoted this agreement to realize its value in cooperation with society. TAK plans to establish a subsidiary standard business for the disabled within the second half of 2021 to expand recruitment of the disabled through stable operation.
