Children of TAK employees, participated in barracks experience events to promote security awareness
From July 26th to 27th, Toray Advanced Materials Korea (CEO Jeon Hae-sang) organized a barracks experience for employees and their children at the 5th Artillery Brigade, the sisterhood unit.
While about 30 people participated including elementary school kids and their children, the event started with welcoming. Participants have experienced combat equipment such as self-propelled artillery and armored vehicles and received security education and unit dormitories.
On the second day, they experienced the importance of national security and the preciousness of peace by conducting security tours such as the DMZ Peace Observatory and the 2nd Tunnel.
An employee of Toray Advanced Materials Korea, who participated in the barracks experience, said, “It was a meaningful time for children to experience and raise awareness of security," adding that "we appreciate the soldiers for the national security."
Toray Advanced Materials Korea and the 5th Artillery Brigade have continued wide-ranging mutual exchanges such as development funds and delivery of goods, events for inviting model executives and couples, and experiences in the barracks for employees' children since they signed their sisterhood relationship in 2012.
