Chairman Lee is selected as Korea's 'humanitarian entrepreneur' at the 6th HDI Human Management Awar
Lee Young-kwan, chairman of Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK), was selected as one of the 10 "humanitarian entrepreneurs" in Korea at the 6th HDI Human Management Awards.
Chairman Lee was named the winner of the social contribution category in recognition of his contributions to establishment of the Korea Toray Science Foundation for intensive supporting in chemical and material sectors, realizing corporate social responsibility to overcome the Corona 19, and practicing sharing with neighbors for a warm world.
HDI Human Management Award was established to discover managers who practice 'management spirit of respect for human beings' and to contribute to the state and industry through widespread notification. It has been conducted annually since 2015 under the auspices of the HDI Human Development Institute. The grand prize was recommended by 3,000 managers, and a total of 10 winners were selected from among businessmen after deliberation by judges and evaluation advisory panel members in the 30 recommended candidates.
Meanwhile, the 6th HDI Human Management Awards ceremony will be held at the Le Meridian Hotel in Nonhyeon-dong on December 21st.
