Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK) held a 2021 kickoff ceremony on January 4th and marked the beginning of a hopeful new year.

Considering the social distance caused by Corona 19, the main event was held in the international conference room of the Gumi 4 plant, and limited people attended the headquarters and each workplace and was broadcast live.

In his New Year's address, CEO Jeon Hae-sang asked that 2021, the second year of Vision 2030, will be "a year to strengthen profitability with constant innovation and prepare for future growth by creating new growth engines."

Next came Vice President Lim Hee-seok, Vice Chairman Kataoka Tomohiko, and Chairman Lee Young-kwan's New Year's greetings. Vice President Lim mentioned the environment and safety as this year's management topics, and especially emphasized the importance of safety, saying that Vision 2030 cannot be achieved without safety. Vice Chairman Kataoka said that Vision 2030 should be a common goal while properly looking at the current situation, and asked to take on the task from the perspective of "for the company" in their respective locations.

Finally, Chairman Lee emphasized the points that should be implemented in common by Toray Group this year, and said to move forward vigorously toward the "super-class company TAK."
