Metaloyal production team member Han Gook-geun received the Bronze Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit at the 2024 Labor Day government award ceremony held at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul on the 30th.

On this day, TAK staff and Han attended and celebrated together.

Since joining TAK in 1981, Han has fulfilled his responsibilities with a field-friendly attitude and taken the lead in ensuring efficient field operations.

He received the award for his contribution to stabilizing labor and management in the field, as well as within the company, by improving productivity and eliminating safety accidents.

"It is quite meaningful to receive such a great award after working for 43 years," said Han. "I will share my know-how and take the lead in promoting harmony within the department by nurturing juniors through communication with others."

Hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Labor Day Government Award Ceremony began in 1975 and has been held every year to recognize sincere workers in the field.

The award is given to those who reduce gaps in the labor market, establish a win-win labor-management culture, create jobs, improve productivity while eliminate the industrial accidents and contribute to raising social awareness of the value of labor.
