Professor Na Seok-in of Jeonbuk National University has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Spring Toray Mid-Career Academic Award, established by Toray Advanced Materials Korea. The award ceremony was held on April 9 during the Spring Conference of the Polymer Society of Korea at the Daejeon Convention Center.

Professor Na has conducted research on the development of new materials as well as the fabrication and characterization of optoelectronic devices. His contributions to the advancement of polymer science and technology in Korea through research on next-generation solar cells based on solution processes were highly recognized.

Upon receiving the award, Professor Na stated that he hopes to continue contributing to the advancement of related fields through research on next-generation energy technologies based on advanced materials.

Toray Advanced Materials Korea continues to support research activities and has established academic awards in cooperation with related academic societies to promote the development of polymer and chemical engineering fields in Korea.
