Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK) delivered a sanitary kit to Gangseo-gu Office on July 14th to prevent coronavirus infection.
The sanitary kit, consisting of 20,000 health masks and 2,000 antibacterial tissues, is for welfare facilities for the disabled and low-income families in areas where it is difficult to purchase goods, and is prepared with various masks and tissues for convenience, and will be distributed by Gangseo-gu Office.
"The spread of corona has continued due to the recent mutation virus," said President Jeon Hae-sang. "We hope to return to our daily lives as soon as possible with more thorough personal hygiene and quarantine management." TAK has been donating sanitary products to Gangseo-gu, where the Korea Toray R&D Center is located since last year.
TAK has contributed to hygiene and safety by developing two layers and AD masks as well as mass supply of MB filters, which are key materials for masks, and recently, color nonwoven fabrics for masks have been introduced to expand consumers' choices.
