Certification of ‘2020 Healthy Workplace’ for Gumi Plant 1 and 2
Gumi Plant 1 and 2 of Toray Advanced Materials Korea(TAK) acquired the ‘2020 Healthy Workplace (Navi) certification’ organized by Gumi City on December 1st.
‘The Healthy Workplace(Navi) Certification’ is a system that certifies healthy workplaces among manufacturing businesses that have been certified as safety and health management systems for the health and safety of workers as healthy workplaces that meet both physical working conditions and personal health resources.
TAK is carrying out various projects such as anti-smoking clinic, walking activation program "Work On," counseling for abnormal findings and managing metabolic syndrome, a campaign to know blood vessel age, and operation of high blood pressure and diabetes classes, and some of them are being pushed in conjunction with health centers. Because of these activities, TAK was highly praised for leading the promotion of health activities for its employees.
Gumi Plant 1 and 2 have been recertified every three years since it was first certified in 2011 when ‘The Healthy Workplace(Navi) Certification’ was first implemented, and Gumi Plant 3 and 4 have also continued to maintain certification.
Meanwhile, Gumi-si was scheduled to hold a certification ceremony on December 3rd, but canceled it due to the spread of the infection to Corona 19.
