TAK donates 300 sets of mask hygiene kits to Gangseo-gu
Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc., delivered 300 sets of "Love Sanitary Kit" to the Gangseo-gu Office's Living and Welfare Bureau on July 14 for neighbors who have difficulty purchasing essential sanitary products to prevent COVID-19.
The "Love Sanitary Kit" contains saliva droplet prevention masks and hand sanitizers, making it easy to use as personal hygiene products anytime, anywhere.
"We hope it will be a small consolation and strength for communities suffered from COVID-19," said Jeon Hae-sang, president of Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc., "We will continue to make efforts to supply materials that society needs by using our capabilities in the future."
Along with the mass supply of MB filter, which is an essential material for masks, Toray Advanced Materials Korea Inc., has achieved a power outage SMS non-woven mass-production system that can be produced in two layers by breaking away from the existing three-layer structure and combining exterior, filter, and lining into one.
It has also developed a series of non-woven fabric filters for saliva droplet prevention masks, which can be manufactured in one layer, and is said to be contributing to the supply of materials for national hygiene so that masks can be used conveniently in summer.
